Welcome to Kids Ministry
We love kids at Bethesda Church! We are grateful that we get to be a part in the discipleship process of the kids who come through our doors. Our kids ministry consists of three main branches.
Nursery
Our nursery is open on Sunday mornings during Sunday School and the worship service for ages 0-2! We don’t just babysit your kids. We pray for them and share the gospel with them in age appropriate ways!
Sunday School
Sunday school is available for all ages of kids every Sunday morning from 9:00-9:45! We have dedicated teachers who are excited about teaching kids from God’s Word! Sunday school is available for ages 2-18. We also have a nursery available during this time so that everyone can dig into God’s Word! Our classes focus on teaching from God’s Word and helping kids interact and understand the truth found there.
AWANA
AWANA is our Wednesday night program at Bethesda. It goes from 6:30-8 pm every Wednesday from September to March! It is based on the AWANA program that is used in thousands of churches all over the world. AWANA’s goal is to reach kids, equip leaders & change the world. It is for kids age 4 through 8th grade. The kids are broken up into 4 different age groups (Cubbies, Sparks, T&T and SPLASH). Each group has game time, singing, a lesson and learning from Scripture. Come check it out!
Other Kids Ministries - Camp
Byron Bible Camp is located 20 miles north of town and we encourage our church families to send their kids. They offer summer camps for ages 8-18 and winter weekend retreats for 3rd grade through high school! Summer camp is a great time to get away from the normal routine of life and hear from God in a different environment!
